Our Christmas Fayre was held Saturday 12th December 2015 at 2pm – 4pm.

It was a seasonal greeting to all the minute you entered our car park with all the festive Christmas lights to be seen.  Welcomed with a glass of mulled wine and mince pie to put you in the Christmas spirit.

On offer were raffle tickets (with prizes ranging from food hampers, avon hampers down to bottles of wine and boxes of chocolates.  Tombola, Hand Bag and Purse stall, Clothes stall, Homemade Cake stall, Jewellery stall and a very special addition done by our very own residents Homemade Craft stall (which sold out almost immediately)

Some of the highlights of the day were a great effort from our very own Ashfields Staff Choir (what a laugh,  the residents absolutely loved it and joined in the fun)  Hannah Standing also played the harp brilliantly for everyone and Sarah Standing played the piano.

To top all of that off a visit from Santa Claus himself which helped to make our Christmas Fair magical.

Thank you to Becky and Emma (our activities girls) for organising all of this festive fun and to all the staff and Residents at  Ashfields for taking part and making the day so special.  Altogether on the day £560 was raised to go into our Residents Funds for next years activities and outing so thank you very much to all.

Watch this space for photos you wouldn’t want to miss them!!!!!!

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year from everyone at Ashfields Care Home
