ELF DAY
Elf Day was held 7th December 2018. This is to help raise money for people who live with Alzheimer’s and Dementia which I personally hold close. On the day we invited all our residents living with some kind of Dementia and their families who also sometimes suffer just as much as their Mum or Dad. We gave everyone a chance to chat and served coffee and cakes from our Coffee Shop. We had lots of laughing later taking part in 2 Christmas Quizzes which was hosted by my husband Clive. Staff dressed up as Elf’s to support us and we had a prize for the best dressed which Emma won, she even went out and bought new red shoes. We really had a wonderful afternoon and managed to raise £200 which I am sure you will agree was a really good amount.
