You will find Ashfields care home in a quiet town called Heanor, an old mining town in between Derby and Nottingham.
Ashfields has been providing care to the community for over 30 years. Ashfields had undergone many changes over the years. Ashfields is currently owned by Mr Conway Standing. It began as a small care home for 14 residents then moved to 22 beds then 46 beds in 2009.
Ashfields had its biggest make over to date in 2021 when the whole home was refurbished to a luxury standard. Now Providing care to 76 residents with various needs.
A nursing, residential and dementia care home under one roof, over 3 separate suites, each with a dedicated staff team delivering outstanding care to those best placed to ensure their needs are met.

Everyone here has their own en-suite furnished room with TV, telephone and internet access. If you prefer you are welcome to bring your own furniture and personalise your room as you wish, after all you’re at home!
You can take life at your own pace. You can relax in the coffee shop, in the salon whilst having a shampoo and set or join your new friends in one of the lounges. Feel free to spend time in any one of our delightful outdoor areas. You can join in one of the days exciting activities with one of our fun and friendly activity co-ordinators, the activity staff offer an interesting varied and fun filled activities 7 days a week.
We hold regular group meetings in which everyone airs their views on any aspect of life here at Ashfields. You don’t have to be shy about speaking up. We value your thoughts and suggestions.
